DriveBooks ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent earnings tracking application designed for professional truck drivers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Walmart Inc. or any other employer.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the DriveBooks application ("App") available at drivebooks.app. By using DriveBooks, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

When you create an account and use DriveBooks, we collect:

• Full name and contact information (entered in your driver profile)
• Earnings data, trip records, mileage, odometer readings, and truck numbers

• Driver type and employer information (e.g., "Walmart Driver")
• Load information, maintenance records, and HOS data
• Any comments or notes you add to trip records

• App usage patterns and feature interactions

• Social Security Numbers or government ID numbers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the DriveBooks application

• Sync your data across devices via our cloud infrastructure
• Calculate earnings, pay periods, and financial summaries
• Generate reports and PDF exports for your personal use

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with enterprise-grade security. All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption. Each user's data is isolated and protected using row-level security — no other user can access your personal records.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@drivebooks.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Export your data using the built-in Export feature in the App
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, opt out of the sale of personal information (Note: DriveBooks does not sell personal information), and request deletion of your data. Contact privacy@drivebooks.app to exercise these rights.

European Users (GDPR)

You have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and the performance of our contract with you.

DriveBooks is an independent application and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected in any way to Walmart Inc. The term "Walmart Driver" is used solely as a descriptive category to identify users who are employed by or contracted through Walmart. All pay rate information and calculations are based on publicly available information and user-entered data. Walmart Inc. does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any calculations made by DriveBooks.

9. Children's Privacy

DriveBooks is intended for professional commercial truck drivers who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the effective date.
